The Packet Package is a valuable tool for Guidance Counselors, for it not only gives students an understanding of the Internet, but also encourages them to pursue more rigorous studies in technology. It provides students with a basic foundation in networking and introduces them to a variety of careers in computer-related fields.
The materials and lessons provided can be used with individual students, with groups of students, with a class, or in a club setting. The club atmosphere gives students the opportunity to work with others on selected projects. You'll find loads of Packetville materials in this section and throughout the site. Hacker Busters' resources are designed to be used with students ages, 12-14, but be sure to modify them as you want so that they will be perfect for your students.
